Testimony: Veterans Services

Hi Deacon G,

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share some fantastic news about our partnership with The Green Chair Project. You have played a HUGE part in what we have been able to do with and for our Veterans. Since we made sure you were included in the entry that we submitted back in March, although we did not win the competition, we still got recognition from the nation office. Check out the link below…..Hi all,

So most of you may not have known this, but back in March 2021, I submitted an entry to the VHA Community Partnership Challenge, sponsored by the VA National Center for Healthcare Advancement and Partnerships.  They highlight best practices when it comes to how the VA can successfully partner with community entities, resources and agencies in an effort to better serve Veterans in our communities.  They name the top 3 winners every year, and there is a theme every year for the competition, and the questions they pose stem from that.  This year’s theme was “Adaptivity in a Changing World”.  While the entry did not win, the judges thought that our Green Chair partnership was so outstanding, that they wanted to nationally recognize it anyway.  The link is below.
