Mission 

The Durham VA Homeless Program provides exceptional health care, supportive services, and housing resources to Veterans experiencing homelessness using principles of person centered recovery-oriented care.

Working toward a future in which no Veteran who desires housing goes without. 

Program Overview 

The Homeless Program helps Veterans who are homeless or at risk of being homeless.  We connect them with medical, mental health, substance use, employment, and housing resources.  The Homeless Program works to reduce homelessness among Veterans by providing a wide range of services such as outreach, case management, and housing.  It is our hope that with the help of these services, Veterans will reach their own goals for a better life.  We work with our community partners to find available resources for homeless Veterans.

We provide furniture packages, beds, food, clothing, rental, utility services, and more for our Veterans to support their mission.
